Sole proprietorship over partnership
Firstly, Sole proprietorship is better in profit making than Partnership in the sense that all profit made by the entrepreneur is for him and him alone.
Moreover, easy Management is considered one of the major attributes of the sole Proprietorship. The operations of the company are easily controlled and directed by the entrepreneur unlike the partnership business in which expertise advice is often sought.
Consequently, risk bearing has been considered one of the advantages of partnership. But my fellow readers, I would like to ask you? 'What is the essence of continuous bearing of risks without increase in profit in a partnership business'
In a sole Proprietorship, Risk bearing is minimal due to the close relationship between the owner and the customers unlike partnership where there is zero or no interaction between partners and consumers.
Bill Gates , One of the richest men in the world quotes
In a partnership business, there are different types of partners , the actions of the active or general partner might be binding to others unlike a sole Proprietorship in which the entrepreneur takes responsible decisions for his business.
In Conclusion, Sole Proprietorship requires only small capital for establishment. It is a one's man business and can be set up by anyone.
